Our mission is to share the love of Jesus Christ with our neighbors through grace-filled hospitality and Spirit-led service, supported by prayer and study.
We are a moderate United Methodist congregation that is welcoming of all persons and is committed to sharing Christ’s love with all people, beginning with the Whitehall Community.
Denise Sager is a fifth generation pastor in her family, but the first one to speak English as her first language. Born to educators who are now retired, she became a college English instructor serving the church in Japan, where the brothers and sisters in Christ there recognized spiritual gifts, and urged that she become a pastor. Trusting that God was calling her to new ventures, she attended seminary. For several decades she has served in a variety of national and international ministries, including hospitals, campus ministry, mission work, hospice, seminary administration, and a wide variety of congregations. She is passionate about outreach, serving and growing closer to God’s Spirit!
